MEET TAYESON GONZALEZ

Army Reserve Staff Sergeant John Deptula proudly served his country for 24 years. During his military career, he deployed in support of nine tours overseas and was stationed stateside at Fort Bragg, Fort Campbell, and MacDill Air Force Base. During Operation Iraqi Freedom, he was medically evacuated and spent over a year recovering from severe injuries. SSG Deptula received many awards and decorations for his service including the Bronze Star (3), Purple Heart (2), National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Armed Forces Reserve Medal, Combat Action Badge.
