About Folds of Honor and American Dunes
Course / Spectator Information

In 2007, Lt Col Dan Rooney hosted the inaugural Patriot Golf Day at what was then Grand Haven Golf Club. On that momentous day, the idea that would become the Folds of Honor Foundation was born. The sacrifice of U.S. service members would now be met with hope – through educational scholarships awarded to their dependents. In 2018, Lt Col Rooney enlisted the donated design services of golf icon Jack Nicklaus and transformed Grand Haven Golf Club into what is now American Dunes. A uniquely moving, patriotic experience centered around a world-class design.
