Marine Corps Staff Sergeant Mario Rodriquez proudly served his country for 20 years. He was an Airborne and Air Delivery Specialist and Parachutist. He deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Inherent Resolution. SSG Rodriguez received many awards and decorations for his service including the Navy Unit Commendation (2), Navy Meritorious Unit Commendation, Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal (6), National Defense Service Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal w/1 Star, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal, Sea Service Ribbon.
