Army Staff Sergeant Larry Rougle proudly served his country for seven years. He served three tours in Afghanistan and three tours in Iraq. On his sixth deployment, he was killed in action on October 23, 2007, during Operation Rock Avalanche. SSG Rougle received many awards and decorations for his service including the Bronze Star Medal and Purple Heart.
