Navy Petty Officer Second Class Jack Mitchell proudly served his country for 13 years. He began his military career as a signalman and later became a Master-at-Arms. PO2 Mitchell received many awards and decorations for his service including the National Defense Service Medal, Expert Pistol Shot Medal, Expert Rifleman Medal, GWOT Service Medal, GWOT Expeditionary Medal (2), Good Conduct Medal (4), Navy/MC Achievement Medal, Navy/MC Commendation Medal.
