Army National Guard Sergeant James Hicks proudly served his country for 10 years. He worked as an Infantryman and deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. SGT Hicks received many awards and decorations for his service including the Army Commendation Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Army Achievement Medal, NATO Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Combat Infantryman Badge, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal.
