Donation Refund Policy
Folds of Honor is grateful for your donation and support of our mission. Our budget and ongoing financial health are reliant on accounting for and accepting irrevocable, non-refundable donations from the public. Consequently, Folds of Honor considers all donations to be nonrefundable. However, we may consider returning donations to the donor in limited circumstances. If you have made an error in making your donation or changed your mind about contributing to our organization, please contact us. Folds of Honor will only consider your request, depending upon the circumstances, and only if such request is made within ninety (90) days of the original donation. Refunds are returned using the original method of payment. For example, if you made your donation by credit card, your refund will be credited to that same credit card. We may ask for proof of identity before issuing a refund. You are responsible for all tax considerations that may arise if your donation is refunded.

Donation
A donation is a gift – usually one of a charitable nature. A donation is a voluntary transfer of property (often money) from the transferor (donor) to the transferee (donee) with no exchange of value (consideration) on the part of the recipient (donee). (The recipient gives nothing in exchange for the donated property.)

When a donor knowingly, intentionally, and unconditionally conveys property (or a symbol of the intended property) to a donee, the donation goes into effect and becomes irrevocable upon the donee’s acceptance thereof.
